College Hill Moravian Church
To learn, share, live Christ's love

College Hill’s 2011 Church Watchword (Isaiah 6:3) is

"Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory.”

This is how worshipers in attendance on January 9, 2011 understood our watchword...

We are found, we can always experience and share God’s Glory. Where will I be sent? It doesn’t matter!

Look and see the glory of God in the world. He is present even where you think he is not.

God provides opportunities everywhere to serve Him – we must be open to recognize them and be ready to do His will.

We need to not only recognize God’s glory but it is our job to shore it and help others see it too.

Just like Isaiah, the Lord has chosen each one of us to spread his glory.

One must open their spiritual eyes and they can see the glory of God. We have a loving, caring God who is our Holy Savior.

We should conquer fears, and be more certain God is in our lives.

God is saying to me, to step up and do something. Probably God will open up my mind to know what to do.

To reach out to those who do not have a relationship with God.

We are all called to be witnesses of God’s glory.

God’s glory is everywhere. Our call is to recognize that glory, live that glory, and share that glory with others in God’s love and glory.

Wherever you look or wherever you go, you will see God’s glory being shown through different ways.

God knows we are sinning but loves us anyway and has plans for us. Will we see God’s glory and respond?

I’m always there for you. Are you there for me?

College Hill is a part of the holy glory of our Lord and Savior! May each of us feel his holiness and show his holiness in our daily lives!

Worship me with all of your heart, soul, strength and mind – come into my presence with reverence, open to my calling.

To be open to seeing God and not standing in the way. This community is on the threshold of great things.

We should put him first in our lives. No matter what.

God is totally holy. Everywhere in the world one looks the holiness or perfection of God is everywhere.

Find hope and peace in God’s amazing glory and wonder – it is all around us!

May College Hill have a fresh vision of God’s glory – and how our unholiness is cleansed by him. Give us his burning passion to reach out to our neighbors to know God’s holiness and glory. A real sense of God in heaven having compassion and love for all who revere him.

God’s glory is overwhelming. We have a chance this year to be humbled and grateful for these gifts by being the people that knows we can be – by serving God.

The spirit may be inviting us to re-focus our eyes on God and away from ourselves and what we think is important.

Heaven is right beyond our nose.

How else and to whom do we need to share the glory of God. Here I am (are we) send me (us)! Move beyond our comfort level.

We all need to take a step back from our busy days to look around and recognize the glories of God on this earth.

Look for God everyday – everywhere you go – around every corner, you will be amazed what you see!

Maybe we need to rethink how we respond to God’s great holiness.

That he is the holy one and only he can give us true glory.

Serve the Lord.

Through God, we as a church can do great things beyond our imaginations if we seek him and use what only he can give us through his holiness. Praise the Lord!

We need to honor the whole earth; i.e. all people, and the land, see and sky and all that lives – plants, trees, animals; no room for prejudice or greed.

Believe in the Lord and you will have peace and ever lasting peace and love.

The Lord of hosts demands and deserves honor, respect, admiration, and obedience.

Strive for holiness in yourself.

God shares his blessings and glory through many ways even though we are sinners . . . or maybe because we are sinners.

There are reminders of God’s presence everywhere – our church’s work needs his blessing to take hold and be effective. We cannot ignore God and push our own agenda.
